She’s cute, she rips, and she stands upright on your desk instead of rolling off it. The Vape Kitty is a cat-shaped 510 battery in Tie Dye or Black.

Boop her nose to fire it and tap to switch voltage; the little sunglasses show where you’re set (green 3.2V, blue 3.6V, pink 4.0V). She charges over USB-C and works with any 510 cart.

Here’s what comes in the box:

  • The Vape Kitty battery in your chosen color (Tie Dye or Black).
  • A USB-C charging cable.

Battery only, no cart included. It works with any 510-thread cart.

New to the Kitty? It’s mostly booping.

  • Charge the battery first with the included USB-C cable.
  • Attach a cart: pull the rubber cap off the cart’s bottom, then screw it onto the battery hand-tight. Don’t overtighten.
  • Boop the nose 5 times to power on or off.
  • Double-tap the nose to change voltage. The sunglasses show your setting (green 3.2V, blue 3.6V, pink 4.0V).
  • Press the nose button while you inhale slowly.
  • Stand her upright in a cool, dry place.

Backed by a 1-year warranty. A few tips to keep her running:

  • Charge with the included USB-C cable and unplug once full.
  • Wipe the 510 connector if a cart leaves any residue.
  • Stand her upright when she’s not in use.

Reviewers love how fun she looks and how well she actually performs.

What Customers Are Saying

“I absolutely love this kitty battery. The ladies at TribeTokes really popped off with this one. I got the tie-dye one because it’s just so darling. The buttons are intuitive and this monster packs a really long-lasting battery. I’ve had it since September and have only charged it twice. I get compliments all the time. Also so practical: it’s one of the few batteries that can stand on its own without tipping over.”

Frankie

“Once I found out cute pens existed, I’ve been on the hunt. This guy is so cute! Works just as well as any other pen I’ve had and seems to get less sticky than others I’ve had.”

Kennsley S.

“I just love it. So cute and a great size. Works excellent as well. Would make a great gift.”

Hannah J.

A cat-shaped 510-thread battery built by TribeTokes. The vape hardware market is full of sleek black rectangles; the Vape Kitty is the antidote. Three voltage settings, long-lasting battery, button-activated firing, works with any standard cartridge. Designs from minimalist to tie-dye. Stands on its own without tipping (one less thing to chase across your nightstand).

Cute. Functional. Made by Us.

How To Use the Vape Kitty

Attach the cartridge. Screw any 510-thread cartridge onto the top of the battery, hand-tight until you feel resistance. Don’t overtighten. Overtightening damages the cart’s base and makes the battery misread the contact, which leads to weak hits or no firing. The Vape Kitty works with all TribeTokes cartridges and most third-party 510-thread carts on the market.

Power on and pick a voltage. Five clicks of the button turns the battery on. The sunglasses LED lights up to show the current voltage setting (low, medium, or high). Three more clicks cycles through the three settings. Start at medium for most carts. Drop to low for more flavor and less vapor, or go to high for bigger clouds. Five clicks again to power off.

Take a hit. Hold the button down while inhaling. The battery is button-activated, not draw-activated, so it won’t fire accidentally in your pocket or bag. Inhale slowly for two to three seconds for a balanced hit. Longer pulls produce more vapor but can overheat the cart. Wait a few seconds between hits to let the cart cool and the oil resaturate the coil.

Charge when the LED warns you. The sunglasses LED changes color when the battery drops to about 20% remaining. Plug the included USB cable into the base of the battery and into any standard USB power source. Charging takes 60 to 90 minutes from empty to full. The LED pulses while charging and goes solid when full. Unplug once charged; leaving it plugged in past full shortens the long-term lifespan.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s in the box?

The Vape Kitty battery, a USB charging cable, and a quick-start instruction card. The battery ships with the voltage set to the middle setting (medium) so you can use it out of the box with most cartridges. Charge the battery before first use; the included cable plugs into any USB outlet. Cartridges are sold separately, so you can pair the Vape Kitty with whatever cannabinoid you want (THCa, Delta 8, HHC, CBD, or any third-party 510-thread cart). What’s not in the box: a wall adapter (the USB cable plugs into any USB port, including any wall adapter you already own), a spare cell (the battery cell is integrated, not user-replaceable), and a hard case (we sell the Saber Keybox Popup separately if you want a battery that lives inside a case).

Cartridge compatibility: what carts work with the Vape Kitty?

Any standard 510-thread cartridge. That includes TribeTokes carts across the cannabinoid lineup plus the vast majority of cartridges sold in the broader market. 510-thread is the universal vape industry standard, named for the screw-on connection size (5mm diameter, 10 threads). The Vape Kitty was deliberately built on this standard so customers aren’t locked into one brand. If you have a cartridge that doesn’t fit, it isn’t 510-thread; most vape carts on the market are. One nuance worth knowing: not all 510-thread carts are equally well-made. Some have wider center pins or different airflow specs that can produce inconsistent hits even on a quality battery. If a third-party cart isn’t firing reliably on the Vape Kitty, it’s usually the cart. TribeTokes carts are spec-matched to TribeTokes batteries.

Battery life: how long does the Vape Kitty last between charges?

It depends on use frequency. A light user (a few sessions per week) can go two to three months between charges. A heavier user (daily sessions) typically charges weekly. The LED indicator on the sunglasses changes color when the battery is running low (about 20% remaining) and stays at that color until you charge. From empty to full takes about 60 to 90 minutes on a normal USB outlet. The battery cell is rated for 300+ full charge cycles, which translates to multiple years of use for most customers. After several years of heavy use, the cell capacity slowly diminishes (lithium-ion battery chemistry, not a defect). Most customers replace the Vape Kitty by choice (new design, gift, or upgrade) before the battery itself stops holding charge.

Buttons and voltage: how do they work?

The button does three things: power on/off (five clicks), voltage cycle (three clicks), and firing (hold while inhaling). The voltage indicator is the sunglasses LED, which changes color to show your current setting. Button-activated firing (vs draw-activated) gives you more control and prevents the battery from firing accidentally in your pocket or bag. Why three voltage settings? Different cartridges and different cannabinoid blends respond best to different temperatures. Lower voltage preserves terpene flavor; higher voltage produces more vapor at the cost of faster cart depletion. The Voltage Settings card grid above breaks this down with specifics. A common mistake: leaving the voltage on high after switching to a flavor-forward strain. Match the voltage to the cart you’re running, not the cart you ran last time.

Colors and designs: what’s available?

The Vape Kitty comes in several designs: minimalist black, tie-dye, and a few other patterns rotated seasonally. Check the product page for the current lineup. The tie-dye design is the customer favorite and shows up in social posts most often. Each Vape Kitty has the same internal hardware regardless of design (same battery, same voltage settings, same button operation); only the external print varies. If a specific design you want is sold out, email team@tribetokes.com to be notified when it’s restocked. Designs rotate periodically, so the lineup six months from now will look different from today. If you love a current design, the safest bet is to buy it now; some prints come back in later seasons and some don’t.

Charging: how do I charge the Vape Kitty?

Use the included USB cable plugged into any USB port (laptop, wall adapter, portable charger, or USB-equipped power strip work fine). Full charge time is 60 to 90 minutes. The sunglasses LED pulses during charging and goes solid when full. Best-practice notes: don’t trickle-charge the battery for extended periods after it reaches full (modern lithium-ion has overcharge protection but prolonged trickle still shortens lifespan); don’t use damaged cables; and don’t use off-brand fast-chargers above 2A (the Vape Kitty is designed for standard 1A charging). If the Vape Kitty stops charging entirely, the most common cause is debris in the USB port. Inspect the port with a flashlight and clean it with a dry cotton swab if needed. Skip compressed air, which can push debris deeper.

Travel: can I fly with the Vape Kitty?

Domestic US flights: yes, in carry-on luggage only. The TSA prohibits lithium-ion batteries in checked baggage (FAA rule, applies to all vape batteries, laptops, power banks, etc). Pack the Vape Kitty in your carry-on with any attached cartridge separated for security screening. International travel: check destination country’s laws on vape hardware and cannabinoid cartridges before flying; some countries prohibit both. If traveling internationally with a cartridge attached, the cartridge content (THCa, Delta 8, CBD) may be subject to local cannabis laws regardless of US federal compliance. The battery itself is legal to travel with as a 510-thread vape pen. Practical tip: TSA isn’t actively looking for hemp-derived cartridges (their focus is weapons and explosives), but if a cart raises questions, original TribeTokes packaging on the cart helps. A cart with branding intact attracts less attention than a generic-looking cart.

Warranty: what’s covered if the Vape Kitty stops working?

TribeTokes covers manufacturing defects for 90 days from delivery. If your Vape Kitty arrives non-functional or stops working within 90 days due to a defect (won’t charge, won’t fire, button stuck, etc.), email team@tribetokes.com with your order number and a brief description of the issue. We’ll send a replacement or refund at no cost. Warranty does not cover physical damage from drops, water exposure, or use with non-510-thread cartridges. After 90 days, hardware troubleshooting support is still available; reach out and we’ll help diagnose. Most customer-reported issues turn out to be cart-related (clogged airflow, damaged cart threading, low cart oil) rather than battery-related. Try a different cart on the same battery before reporting a defect. If the battery works with one cart but not another, the issue is the cart.

Cleaning and care: how do I maintain the Vape Kitty?

Wipe the threading area (where the cartridge screws on) with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol every few cartridge changes to remove residue from the cart connection. This keeps the connection clean and the firing reliable. Don’t submerge the battery or get water inside the charging port. Keep the Vape Kitty out of direct sunlight and hot cars (heat above 110 degrees Fahrenheit shortens lithium-ion battery lifespan). Store with a cartridge removed if you’re not using the battery for more than a week, since cart oil can leak into the threading over long periods and cause connection issues. The exterior print is durable but not bulletproof. Skip harsh chemicals (acetone, bleach) when cleaning the outside; a damp microfiber cloth handles routine cleaning. Drops onto hard surfaces can chip the print or crack the casing.

Returns: what’s the policy on the battery?

Unopened, unused batteries can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Once the battery has been used, it can’t be returned (hygiene and hardware-handling rules), but the 90-day warranty covers any defect-related issues. If you receive a battery that arrived damaged in transit (cracked casing, broken sunglasses, dead on arrival), email team@tribetokes.com with photos and your order number; we’ll send a replacement or refund at no cost. Return shipping is not covered unless there was an error on our end. Hardware returns and warranty replacements can’t be combined with promotional discounts or bundle pricing. If you bought the Vape Kitty as part of a starter kit and need to return only the battery, contact customer service first. Bundle pricing affects how the refund gets calculated, and the cart portion may not be refundable if it’s already been opened.
