What Customers Say About Our THCa Flower and Pre-Rolls
Cheetah Piss is one of nine strains on our indoor line, so most reviews name the flower or pre-roll pack rather than the strain. Every byline below names the product that customer actually bought.

What Is Inside a Cheetah Piss Eighth
One ingredient: whole THCa flower, hemp-derived, with the cannabinoid and terpene numbers verified by an outside lab. Here is what goes into the jar and what each compound contributes.
🌿
THCa, 22 to 28% line-wide
The spec for our whole indoor flower line. Every jar we grow lands somewhere inside that range.
🍋
Limonene
Citrus first. It’s the note that cuts through the funk and the reason the jar smells brighter than the name suggests.
🌶
Caryophyllene
Peppery and warm, and the terpene that gets the most attention from researchers. See the Science Corner below.
🌲
Humulene
The third seat. Earthy and slightly woody, most often reported behind the other two.
🧪
Delta 9 THC, 0.3% or less
Hemp-derived, sitting well beneath the federal dry-weight line, and independently confirmed.
🚫
Nothing Added
No sprays, no artificial terpenes, no additives reintroduced after cure. One ingredient in the jar.
Science Corner: Cheetah Piss THCa Flower
Caryophyllene, the peppery terpene sitting near the top of this strain’s profile, is the one terpene that behaves like a cannabinoid. Gertsch and colleagues (2008) showed it binds selectively to the CB2 receptor, a site found mostly outside the brain, making it the first common dietary compound identified as a selective CB2 agonist (PMID 18574142). Caryophyllene sits at or near the top of the reported profile for this strain, alongside limonene. We test the terpene profile with an outside lab and publish the results rather than estimating them.
How It Works and How Much To Start With
Smoking is the fastest route there is: effects usually arrive inside five minutes and run two to three hours. Cannabinoids cross from your lungs into your bloodstream within a couple of minutes, which is why inhaled flower feels different from an edible even at a similar strength.
Onset usually lands inside five minutes. Most people describe two to three hours of noticeable effect, with a longer tail after that. Those are ranges, not a schedule.
What shifts the experience: how much you’ve eaten, how often you smoke, the size of the inhale, and the batch itself. Two eighths of the same strain from different harvests aren’t identical, which is the honest reason we quote a range instead of one number on the label.
| Intensity | Amount | Who it suits |
| Light | A few small pulls | New to flower, or new to this strain |
| Moderate | A partial bowl | Regular smokers, daytime |
| Strong | A full bowl | Experienced, evening |
| This product | Eighth (3.5g), 22 to 28% THCa line range | Third-party lab tested, results on our lab page |

Cheetah Piss THCa Flower FAQ
Cheetah Piss is a Lemonnade, Gelato 42 and London Poundcake 97 cross, sold as a 3.5g indoor eighth, named after Cat Piss for the shared funk rather than any shared genetics.
It’s hemp flower, grown indoors in small batches and sold by the eighth, from a cultivar named Cheetah Piss. The genetics are a three-way cross of Lemonnade, Gelato 42 and London Poundcake 97. THCa is the acidic cannabinoid that occurs naturally in the living plant, and by law hemp flower has to test at 0.3% or less Delta 9 THC by dry weight, which this does on every batch. You get whole buds rather than ground material, hand-trimmed and packed in a sealed jar, from a line that is third-party lab tested with the results published openly. Nine strains run through our indoor line and this is one of the sharper ones. If you have read about Cheetah Piss somewhere and wondered where to actually buy it, this is that page.
Our shelf label says sativa. Most strain databases disagree, and they are worth listening to: of nine sources we checked, six file it as a plain or balanced hybrid, two lean sativa, and the only published ratios put it at exactly 50/50. Both descriptions are pointing at the same plant from different angles. What people report consistently is a bright, chatty, socially loose opening that mellows out rather than staying up the whole way through. We have kept the sativa label because that’s how it’s catalogued across the industry and how most people search for it, but if you’re choosing strictly by category, treat it as balanced and plan the afternoon accordingly. Anyone telling you the ratio with confidence is guessing, because no lab publishes one.
Because of how it smells, not how it looks. The sharp, funky note hits before the citrus does, and the name is an homage to Cat Piss, a late-90s sativa documented as a Super Silver Haze phenotype that had the same sharp opening. Here is the part most people get wrong: Cheetah Piss and Cat Piss share no genetics at all. One is named after the other purely for the aroma, which makes this one of the few strain names in the catalogue that’s a tribute rather than a family tree. The flower itself is bright green with orange pistils, so any story you read about the name coming from the colour of the bud is inventing a connection that’s not there. Five sources including two pieces of cannabis journalism corroborate the homage.
Sharp funk first, and there’s no point being coy about it. Seven of eight sources lead with that pungent note. Underneath it sits citrus, closer to lemon than orange, plus a diesel undertone and a skunk edge that stays on your fingers after you break up a bud. Grinding it releases considerably more than the sealed jar suggests, so open it somewhere you don’t mind smelling for a while. On the inhale the citrus comes forward more than the nose prepares you for, and the pepper from the caryophyllene shows up on the exhale rather than at the front. If you like Sour Diesel or anything else in the Cat Piss family, this is familiar territory. If sharp aromas put you off, this isn’t the jar to start with.
The indoor line tests between 22 and 28% THCa, and that’s a line range across all nine strains rather than a promise about one jar. Read it as the neighborhood rather than the exact address. We’re deliberate about this because published potency figures for Cheetah Piss run anywhere from 16% to 26% depending on who grew it and which lab tested it, with one user-reported outlier above 30%, and quoting any of those as though it were ours would be guessing. Growing conditions and harvest timing move the number more than most people expect. Trust our published range over anything you read on a forum. Ask us any time if you want more detail. Break it up by hand or with a grinder and pack it loosely, because airflow is most of what makes a bowl smooth instead of harsh. Start with a few small pulls and wait five to ten minutes before going further. Inhaled effects show up fast, so patience costs you almost nothing and impatience costs you the rest of your afternoon. For storage, keep the jar closed somewhere cool and dark: heat and light pull terpenes out of flower considerably faster than time alone does. An eighth kept properly holds its aroma for months. An eighth left on a sunny windowsill will smell like hay inside a fortnight, and once those terpenes are gone they don’t come back, no matter how you store it afterwards.
Yes. Treat that as certain rather than likely. THCa flower produces THC metabolites, and standard drug tests look for those metabolites rather than for a particular product, brand or cannabinoid. This applies to every THCa product on the market, and it applies to full-spectrum CBD too, which is where people most often get caught out believing they were safe. If you face testing for work, sport, a court order, or anything else that carries consequences, the only reliable approach is to abstain from all THC-containing products, hemp-derived ones included. Detection windows vary far too much by frequency of use, body composition and metabolism for anyone to give you a safe number of days in good faith. For current policy detail, see NORML.
Federally, hemp containing 0.3% or less Delta 9 THC by dry weight is legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, and our flower is tested to that standard with the results published on our lab page rather than summarised. State law is a separate question and it changes, sometimes quickly and with little notice. Several states regulate hemp-derived products more tightly than the federal standard does, and a handful restrict THCa flower specifically regardless of how it tests. Check your own state and local rules before ordering, because those govern what is allowed to arrive at your door no matter what the federal position says. Our lab results live on a single page we actually keep current, so if anyone needs to see what we test for, it is already there.
Cautiously yes, and the two caveats matter. The first is the aroma, which is genuinely sharp and nothing like what most people picture when they imagine their first jar of flower. The second is that this cultivar leans talkative and stimulating early on, which some people find great in company and others find unsettling on their own. Start with a few small pulls and wait. Don’t smoke and drive, or operate anything with a motor. If you’re pregnant or nursing, this isn’t for you. If you take prescription medication, particularly anything cardiovascular or anything with a sedative effect, speak to your doctor before adding cannabis, because interactions are real and your pharmacist will know your history better than any product page can.
Durban Poison is the cleaner comparison for pure sativa character: sweeter, more anise and pine on the nose, and more consistently energetic without the mid-session settle that this one has. Cheetah Piss is the more unusual jar of the two, sharper on the nose and more social in feel, and it tends to be the one people either love on the first bowl or hand straight back. Gary Payton sits somewhere between them, denser in structure and more dessert-leaning in flavour. If the lineage is what caught your eye in the first place, London Poundcake 97 is a numbered selection of the same cultivar as our London Pound Cake page, which is the closest thing to a family resemblance we actually sell.
Eighths are $45, 2-packs take $10 off, and the whole indoor line is lab tested by an outside partner.
