“WOW!!! I did a 1/3 dose and it was one of the most pleasant and balanced highs I have ever experienced. Just the right mix of mind and body stimulus, or lack thereof. The perfect blend. Thanks.”

Skip A.

“I’m starting slowly with these, 1/2 at a time, but I’ve enjoyed the high. Not overwhelming and leaves me ready to get out and move and do things.”

Steve B.

“Good choice for me. I usually do a quarter at a time just to take the edge off, and these do a good job without putting me out of it.”

Why TribeTokes for THCV

What is THCV?

THCV, or tetrahydrocannabivarin, is a minor cannabinoid found in hemp. It’s structurally close to THC but behaves like its opposite, blocking the CB1 receptor rather than switching it on. That’s why it’s associated with a clear head rather than a high, and with less appetite rather than the munchies. Hemp produces very little of it, which is why a genuine 15mg dose is rare and why most THCV products on the market contain far less than the label implies. More on that in what is THCV.

How strong are these gummies?

It depends entirely on which one you pick, and the gap is wide. Fit & Focused has 15mg of THCV and zero THC, so there’s no high to misjudge. Kitchen Sink has 5mg of THCV and 10mg of Delta 9 THC, which is a real dose and not where a first-timer should begin. Exact milligrams are on every product page and on the Certificate of Analysis, because guessing is how people have bad nights. See how much THCV should I take.

Why is THCV only in gummies?

Scarcity, mostly. Hemp makes so little THCV that a real dose is expensive to source, and a gummy is the format where we can measure it precisely and prove it on a lab report. Spread that same amount across a vape or a tincture and you get less THCV for more money. We would rather make two gummies we can stand behind than a shelf of products carrying trace amounts.Delta 8 THC carts and disposables and our THCa flower are the honest answer.

Which THCV product should I start with?

Shop Fit & Focused if you want to know what THCV actually feels like, because nothing else in it will muddy the read: 15mg THCV, 20mg CBG, 15mg CBD and no THC. Choose Kitchen Sink instead if you already know you like a high and want THCV folded into a fuller blend. If you can’t decide, You Pick 2 lets you try both for $10 less than buying them separately.

How much should I take?

Start with half a gummy. This is the single most useful sentence on this page. Wait a full 90 minutes before you even think about more, because the mistake almost nobody avoids is topping up at minute forty when nothing seems to be happening. Eat something first: an empty stomach changes the curve. Once you know how a given gummy affects you, one is a normal serving. Two is a decision, not a default.

How long does it take to kick in, and how long does it last?

Onset is 45 to 90 minutes, and that’s not us hedging. Anything you swallow has to clear your liver before it reaches your blood, which is why edibles are slow and inhaling isn’t. A 2020 systematic review in Medicina pooled 26 human studies of oral cannabinoids and found peak blood levels somewhere between 35 and 90 minutes, with effects running four to six hours. Give it the full 90 before you decide it’s not working.

Will THCV show up on a drug test?

THCV itself, no. Standard tests don’t screen for it. But the product can. Kitchen Sink contains 10mg of Delta 9 THC, which absolutely can produce a positive. Fit & Focused contains no THC, though no hemp product is completely risk free. If you’re tested for work or sport, the only honest advice is to avoid hemp-derived cannabinoid products entirely, ours included. Full detail: does THCV show up on a drug test.

Are these vegan and lab tested?

Yes to both. Every gummy here is pectin-based, so no gelatin, and they’re vegan and gluten-free with no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial dyes. Every batch is third-party lab tested for potency and contaminants, and the Certificate of Analysis is published on our site rather than available on request. With an intoxicating edible the lab report isn’t a nice-to-have, it’s the only way to know your dose is what the label claims.

What if I take too much?

First: you’re going to be fine. Uncomfortable, possibly convinced otherwise, but fine. Too much is uncomfortable rather than dangerous. With Fit & Focused there’s no THC in it, so the most you’re likely to feel is a bit wired, the way too much coffee goes. With Kitchen Sink you’re dealing with 10mg of Delta 9, so find somewhere you feel safe, drink water, eat something and let the clock do the work. It always ends. Next time, half a gummy and 90 minutes of patience.
