How Long Does a THCa Cart Last?
A 1g THCa cart lasts most people 1 to 2 weeks with moderate daily use. Exact lifespan depends on how frequently you use it, how long each puff is, and what voltage setting you're using, higher voltage burns through oil faster.
A standard 1g cartridge contains roughly 200 to 300 puffs at normal draw duration (2 to 3 seconds). Light users taking 5 to 10 puffs a day can stretch a cart to 3 to 4 weeks. Heavy users going through 30+ puffs a day may finish one in 5 to 7 days. The biggest variable most people overlook is voltage, running your battery at 3.3V vs 4.0V makes a significant difference in how quickly the oil is consumed.
To maximize cart life: use the lowest voltage that produces a satisfying hit (typically 2.8 to 3.2V for live resin), take slow 2 to 3 second draws rather than hard rips, and store the cart upright at room temperature when not in use. Storing horizontally causes oil to pool against the mouthpiece and can clog the airway over time.
