Science Corner: Gushers THCa Prerolls
What’s in the flower and what survives the lighter are two different lists, and almost nobody has measured the second one. Irshad and colleagues (2023) smoked hemp pre-rolls on a machine built to mimic how people actually smoke, then measured what came off in the aerosol (PMID 37159420). Of nineteen terpenes screened, only five turned up in the smoke, and two of those, beta-caryophyllene and nerolidol, are the same ones leading this cultivar. It was one study on someone else’s hemp, so read it as a starting point rather than a promise. It’s still the clearest evidence going that what you roll matters more than the paper you roll it in.
How It Works and How Much To Start With
Onset from a preroll is nearly immediate: expect the first effects inside five minutes, a peak in the first hour, and a two to three hour arc overall. That speed is the format’s built-in safety feature, because you learn where you stand before you have committed to more.

Gushers prerolls, also sold as Gusherz and White Gushers, are whole-flower joints in a sealed jar of five: sweet berry and tropical fruit up front, sour diesel underneath, weighted toward evening.
Five ready-rolled joints per jar, packed with the same indoor Gushers we sell as eighths. The cultivar shows up on menus as Gusherz, White Gushers and TK41 too, and the trade puts its parents at Gelato 41 and Triangle Kush, which nobody has ever documented. Choose Mini at half a gram apiece or Regular at a full gram, five in the jar either way. THCa is the acidic cannabinoid a living plant produces, and every batch we roll comes in at or under 0.3% Delta 9 THC by dry weight. Nothing in the cone is shake or leftover leaf. If rolling is the chore standing between you and flower, this removes it entirely, and it does so without the quality drop the format usually implies.
Sweet, then sour, then a bit of fuel.
