How Do You Store THCa Prerolls?
Store THCa prerolls upright in an airtight container, away from heat, light, and humidity. The paper and flower are both sensitive to moisture and temperature, so proper storage makes a meaningful difference in freshness and burn quality.
The two things that degrade a preroll fastest are heat and moisture. Heat dries out the flower and causes the paper to burn unevenly. Too much humidity and you risk mold, especially if prerolls are stored loose without a humidity pack. A glass jar or dedicated pre-roll tube with an airtight seal is the best everyday option. Keep it somewhere cool and dark, away from windowsills, car gloveboxes, and anywhere that gets warm.
For longer storage, a 62% relative humidity pack inside an airtight container maintains optimal moisture balance. Properly stored THCa prerolls stay fresh for 6 to 12 months. If a preroll has dried out, it will burn fast and harsh. If it smells musty or feels damp, discard it rather than smoke it.
