How Much Weed Is in a Preroll?
Most prerolls contain either 0.5g or 1g of flower. Mini prerolls, often called dog walkers, are 0.5g and sized for a short session. Standard prerolls are 1g and last considerably longer.
The industry standard for a single preroll is 1g. That’s enough for most people to share or to have a full solo session. Mini prerolls at 0.5g are designed for shorter, more contained use. What matters more than the weight is what’s in the preroll. Quality prerolls use whole ground flower, not shake (the loose scraps left over after handling buds) or trim (the leaf material cut away during harvest). Check the COA and look for a full terpene panel as a signal that real flower was used. Shake and trim produce thinner, harsher smoke with less flavor.
