Here’s what comes in the box:

  • The TribeMINI battery in your chosen color (Black or White).
  • A Type-C USB charging cable.
  • Two magnetic adapters: one for half-gram (0.5ml) carts, one for full-gram (1.0ml) carts.

Battery only, no cart included. Works with any 510 cart using the magnetic adapter.

New to the Mini? Charge it, load a cart with a magnetic adapter, and set your voltage.

  • Charge it first with the included Type-C cable. A full charge takes about 45 to 60 minutes.
  • Load a cart: screw the matching magnetic adapter onto your cart (0.5ml or 1.0ml to fit its size), then drop the cart into the Mini. It holds by magnet and sits concealed inside.
  • Power on: click the button 5 times quickly. Five clicks again turns it off.
  • Set voltage: click 3 times to cycle the four settings, 2.6V, 3.0V, 3.4V, 3.8V. The screen shows where you’re set.
  • Preheat: double-click to preheat. The lights glow red, then turn green when it’s ready.
  • Hold the button while you inhale slowly. Store it somewhere cool and dry.

Backed by a 1-year warranty. A few tips to keep it running:

  • Charge with the included Type-C cable and unplug once it’s full.
  • Wipe the connector if a cart leaves any residue.
  • Store it somewhere cool and dry when you’re not using it.

Reviewers love how small and discreet it is without giving up power.

How It Works

When you press the fire button, the TribeMINI sends current through your cartridge’s heating coil. The coil warms the oil to a vaporization point and releases the active compounds as inhalable aerosol. No combustion. No smoke. Just heated vapor.

Effects from inhalation arrive fast, usually within 5 to 15 minutes, faster than any edible or tincture format. How that hit feels comes down to voltage. Blue (low) produces cooler, more flavorful pulls. Red (high) produces thicker clouds and uses more oil per draw. Green (medium) is the daily-driver middle ground.

Cart type matters more than people think. Live resin and full-spectrum oils, which are loaded with terpenes, taste best on blue. Distillate carts, which are thicker and more cannabinoid-dense, often need green or red to flow properly. Cold weather thickens oil too, so a quick preheat cycle (two clicks) helps when your cart has been sitting in the car.

The TribeMINI pairs three voltage tiers with a 650 mAh cell that recharges in under an hour. Universal 510 threading means it works with any standard cart on the market, ours or otherwise. Palm-sized form factor means it lives wherever you live, without the bulk of a larger battery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the TribeMINI work with my vape cart?

If your cart has a 510 thread (and almost every legitimate hemp cart sold in the U.S. does), yes. The TribeMINI uses universal 510 threading, the same 5mm spec used by TribeTokes carts, dispensary brands, and most direct-to-consumer hemp brands. Standard cart lengths fit cleanly. Oversized fat-tip carts may sit a bit tall on a palm-sized battery, which is a cosmetic note rather than a functional one. Proprietary or pod-based systems like PAX Era pods or Stiiizy pods will not fit because they do not use 510 threading at all. The fastest sanity check: if your cart screws onto a 510 battery you already own, the TribeMINI will hold it without issue.

How do the voltage settings work?

Three voltage tiers, signaled by LED color. Click the side button three times in a row to toggle through low (blue), medium (green), and high (red). Low runs around 2.6V and is built for live resin and full-spectrum oils where terpenes are the point. Medium sits in the middle and is the everyday daily-driver setting for most distillate carts (Delta 8, HHC, THCa). High runs up to 3.8V for thick distillate, cold-weather pulls, or anyone who prefers a denser cloud. The LED is the screen, in effect. No menus, no submenus, just three colors that map to three real use cases.

How long does the battery last on a charge?

On a full charge, expect a full day of moderate use. The 650 mAh cell powers a couple hundred draws on the medium setting before needing a top-up. Higher voltage drains the cell faster, so heavy use on the red setting will mean charging more often. The TribeMINI is small enough that most owners just keep the USB charger at their desk and top it off whenever the LED starts blinking. Lithium-ion cells like this one typically hold full capacity for about 300 to 500 charge cycles before noticeable decline, which works out to roughly a year of daily use. The 1-year warranty covers manufacturing defects within that window.

How do I turn it on?

Power on with five rapid clicks of the side button. The LED will flash to confirm. Once on, hold the button while inhaling to take a draw. To turn it off, click five times again. The five-click pattern is a deliberate safety feature, the same one used on most variable-voltage 510 batteries. It prevents accidental activation when the device is rattling around in a pocket, bag, or purse with keys and a phone. If the LED is dark when you click, the battery is either off or out of charge. Plug it in for ten minutes and try again. The Mini charges in under an hour from empty, so a short top-up gets you back in business fast.

What is preheat mode and when should I use it?

Preheat mode warms the coil briefly before you draw, which helps thicker oils flow through cleanly. Activate it by clicking the side button twice in a row. The LED will pulse for about 10 seconds, then shut off automatically. Use preheat when your cart has been sitting in the cold (a car overnight, a winter coat pocket, the freezer aisle of life), or when you are working with a particularly thick distillate cart that pulls harder than usual at the start of a session. You do not need preheat for warm carts or live-resin oils, which already flow easily. One preheat cycle is usually enough. Stacking multiple cycles back to back will shorten cell life over time.

How do I charge the TribeMINI?

USB charging is the Mini’s quiet superpower. Plug the included cable into any standard USB port (laptop, wall adapter, car charger) and a full charge takes less than an hour from empty. The LED on the device shows charging status: it stays solid while charging and turns off when the cell is full. Avoid leaving it plugged in overnight as a daily habit. Lithium-ion cells last longer when they are not held at 100% for extended periods. If you have lost the cable, any standard USB cable with the matching connector will work, including ones from older Android phones or Kindle devices. The fast-charge profile is one of the things owners notice within the first week of switching from a slower battery.

Will my cart break or leak in my pocket?

Pocket lint, broken glass, leaky carts, the standard hazards of carrying a 510 vape around. The TribeMINI’s palm-sized form factor solves most of them by making the whole device small enough to live in a coin pocket, an inside jacket pocket, or a purse pouch where it is not jostling against keys. “Smooth sleek design and a nice consistent pull each time,” wrote reviewer Carolyn G. The Mini will not eliminate leak risk on a heavily filled cart (no 510 battery can), but the smaller footprint reduces the kind of pocket pressure that cracks glass. For maximum protection, use a small soft case if you carry the Mini in a bag with metal items.

Can I travel with the TribeMINI?

Yes. The Mini is the most portable battery in our lineup. “So teeny no one will be able to tell what you’re holding,” wrote Sophie Saint Thomas in Forbes’ round-up of cannabis products to celebrate Pride. By road, the Mini is legal to carry anywhere a 510 vape battery is legal, which is most of the U.S. For domestic flights, TSA allows vape batteries in carry-on bags only (not checked luggage) per FAA lithium battery rules. Whatever cartridge you pair with it falls under separate state-by-state hemp regulations, so check your destination before flying. The Mini itself, empty of any cartridge, draws no more attention at security than any other small electronic device.

What is the warranty?

Every TribeMINI ships with a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects, covering the heating circuit, the LED indicator, and the charging port. Defects do happen with electronics. The honest version is that a small percentage of batteries fail in the first few months, almost always due to a bad solder joint or a faulty switch. When that happens, email team@tribetokes.com with your order number and a quick description of the issue, and customer service will replace the unit at no cost. “They replaced it after a little troubleshooting over email. When I received the replacement they actually sent me 2 batteries,” wrote reviewer Ryan E. about his experience. Wear-and-tear like reduced capacity after a year of daily charging is normal lithium-ion behavior and is not covered.

How is the TribeMINI different from the Saber battery?

Two batteries, two design philosophies. The TribeMINI is palm-sized, voltage adjustable in three tiers via LED color (low/medium/high), with preheat mode and sub-one-hour charging. It is the smallest battery in the lineup and disappears in a closed fist. The Saber is larger and adds an OLED screen, voltage adjustable in 0.1V steps from 2.6V to 4.2V, and a fold-out housing that conceals the cartridge inside the body. Both use universal 510 threading, both share the 650 mAh cell, both are covered by the 1-year warranty. The Mini is for users who prioritize size and simplicity. The Saber is for users who want fine voltage control and a battery that protects the cart in transit. Plenty of repeat customers own both.
