What Is a Live Resin, CDT, or Dispo Cart?

Each of these three labels points to something different, which is exactly why shoppers mix them up. Live resin is an extract made from cannabis frozen right after harvest instead of dried, a method that keeps more of the plant’s original aroma compounds and gives the oil a fuller, truer taste. CDT stands for cannabis-derived terpenes, meaning the cart’s flavor comes from terpenes pulled out of cannabis itself rather than from fruit or lab-made additives. You’ll often see the labels stacked on one product, such as a live resin dispo or a CDT cartridge. Both live resin and CDT signal a more flavor-forward, less processed oil than plain distillate, which is stripped of nearly all terpenes and sometimes re-flavored afterward.
